The Schellenburg complex consists of two buildings – the Palais and the Villa. The two buildings are located in the heart of the picturesque Old Town and on the green fringes of the Tivoli Park.
Alkam’s work on the Palais building (both residential and commercial segments) comprises work on all floors above ground and includes several construction phases:
1. Construction of a ventilated suspended facade with concrete slabs comprising:
the manufacture and installation of an aluminium substructure, the installation of non-combustible thermal insulation and vapour-permeable and water-repellent foil, the installation of concrete facade panels and the manufacture and installation of
aluminium window scuncheons and sills;
2. Aluminium windows in the commercial part of the building,
3. Interior fire doors in stair cores on all floors,
4. Aluminium glass facade on the ground floor and top floor (penthouse),
5. The escape door on the ground floor and the main entrance to the building.
Villa Schellenburg, with its superior apartments, beautifully completes the entire complex and boasts a sophisticated design and innovative Solarlux balcony glazing. These sliding-folding
systems make it easy to open and close balcony areas and create spatial functionality. For Villa Schellenburg, we also furnished glass railings on balconies, the front door and the canopy at the main entrance.
